Worthing Steel Band on ITV's 'This Morning' May 2025
Worthing Steel Band were invited by ITV’s This Morning to perform in Eastbourne in May 2025, after the town was being compared to the Caribbean. We had the best day, bringing the sunshine vibes and steel pan energy to the seafront. We even got to play alongside Rustie Lee and Laura Hamilton, who were presenting on the day.
It was brilliant fun, with a proper party atmosphere, and yes, there was plenty of rum punch too!
Worthing Steel Band on ITVs 'This Morning' January 2024
Worthing Steel Band were invited to take part on ITVs This Morning in Shoreham who were there to attempt to break the world record for the most hugs in one minute 'Hugfest'.
We only had the night before to learn the theme tune! The host and world record breaker was none other than 'I'm a Celebrity's' Sam Thompson, who was lovely and spent the morning keeping the crowd in high spirits, despite the sub-zero temperatures!
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend The Tap House in Shoreham who were very hospitable to us and supplied us with tea and coffee all morning.
